In appreciation of the support Astra Walker received in 2022, we presented a gift representing an alignment of values that has inspired the creation of this limited edition PVD-finish dish crafted to hold ORRIS’ artisanal soap.
“Originating in the South of France — ORRIS artisanal botanical soaps are handcrafted in small batches whereby each cold process soap is hand-poured and hand cut using the finest oils, butters and botanicals. All of which work in harmony to nourish and cleanse without stripping the skin.”
While the simple combination of soap and water dates back to 2800 BC — this collaboration of a custom-made Astra Walker item imparts a shared modern aesthetic and ethics that speak to quality, design, and sustainability.
Both Astra Walker and ORRIS ensure great care and responsibility is taken to embrace sustainable processes to avoid waste, and pollution — both striving to limit impact on the environment.
All ORRIS products are free of sulphates, parabens, and synthetic fragrances or colourants; they contain no animal fats or palm oil and reduce single use plastic packaging.
Astra Walker PVD finishes set the benchmark for durability through strict quality control and certification and are built to last generations. Throughout processing no polluting liquids or toxic waste are produced ensuring the vacuum‑coating process is safe, clean and eco‑sustainable.
